kArLc® Reacts: Chip Tsao's racist article vs. Filipinos

Chip Tsao (To Kit in real life) - The columnist for HK Magazine who wrote the article "The War at Home"/"Filipinos are a Nation of Servants" which sent a racist and discriminatory message to all Filipinos especially the domestic helpers in Hong Kong.

Here is a part of that article:
"
As a nation (Philippines) of servants, you don’t flex your muscles at your master, from whom you earn most of your bread and butter"

My reaction to this article is that Chip Tsao, although he showed some patriotism for China with that article, he should have not discriminated against the Filipinos. So what? If China and the Philippines are fighting for control of the Spratlys, it doesn't mean that he should slam everyone who are fighting for control of the Spartlys. Anyway, why blame us Filipinos? There are also other countries who are fighting for control like Vietnam, Malaysia and others. Also, I'm sure he want the Filipinos out of Hong Kong if China and Philippines were to go to war for the Spratlys. But since it's true that Filipinos go abroad to earn money, We should never discriminate Filipinos.

This article by Chip Tsao, is also another version of racism against Filipinos like the one in the USA where the show "Desperate Housewives" discriminated Filipino doctors.

But I'd tell you Mr. Chip Tsao, I dare you to come to the Philippines and face the Filipinos and see for your self what the Filipino truly is.

Earth Hour 2009

-03.28.09
-Pics taken across our street, and around Sugartowne..
-The world's first global election
-Turned off the lights from 8:30-9:30 pm.
-Most of our street turned off the lights.
-Some still turned on their lights, maybe because there out of town, or they have not heard the news about Earth Hour, or for other reasons.
-Lights at our Basketball Court were still on since the Summer Basketball League is ongoing.

Lazy summer days... :D

So far in this summer.. It has been one of the most laziest summers where the only thing I did the past few days was surf the internet and watch TV with shows I don't usually watch. I tried to do other stuff like playing basketball on mornings, but after playing basketball, I have nothing to do but surf the internet...

I will also try to do other stuff like visiting my best friend's house, buy Starbucks or KFC, do something special on my birthday this April, review for the UPCAT, and do something productive like reading a book, watch movies, and buy something this summer.

It's a long summer ahead. I sure want to spend it right.

SEEMS LIKE I HAVE NOTHING TO WRITE THIS SUMMER

They will NEVER.... EVER understand what I write...

Every time I blog, I write stuff that comes into my mind, stuff that would be better if it's written. But sometimes, some readers of my blogs, don't even get to the point of every blog I write. They quickly post comments that hurt people, especially myself who wrote the blogs with heart and hardwork. It seems like everytime I ask them to read my blogs with care. They never listen and it's unlikely that they will ever listen to my small request.

I think that they will NEVER... EVER try to understand what every blog I write means, it's like in school, where they will NEVER... EVER try to understand what I am trying to say

I LOVE to WRITE BLOGS... and whether you like it or not, I will keep on writing BLOGS my entire life, because these BLOGS are my lifeblood on the internet. Whenever I am bored this is my favorite thing to do.

I'm sure some of the readers will never ever understand what I am saying in this blog. But if you don't want to ever understand anything about this blog. DON'T COMMENT! Just leave the page quietly and keep on browsing on other pages on the internet.

Still, I am asking for your understanding. Because I want  to keep a friendly environment for not only my blogs, but the entire site. I don't want my blogs to be turned into warzone forums like what some people who visit the site do on my posts.

I am a proud BLOGGER..

Why I write blogs? What's bad of writing one? Blogs are not "warzone forums"

Lately, I've been getting very "sick/negative" comments in my two previous blogs which was about the prom and outing. Comments that hurt and defy people. That's why I'm saying my blogs are turned into warzone forums. A place where you can freely add negative comments that will hurt people.

I'm already tired of hearing these comments over my page, I won't delete those comments but they will serve as an reminder for me of what they say on me. I suggest for the people who turn my blogs into warzone forums, to write a blog against me on your page.  I don't care if it can hurt a lot, but if you write it on your own page, I have no right to "destroy" that blog.

I write blogs, because sometimes I have no camera to use in some memorable activities, and also blogs are a way to show freedom of expression when your voices are not heard by the people concerned. So what's bad about writing one? Well some blogs, hurt people which could be bad. So what if I was called a "blog queen", that's their reaction, because I love to blog, and I live to write what I want.

Although some of you may never really understand what I am trying to say in this blog because you are already sick of my face, my mouth or my personality. I don't care anymore, these are just hurdles for me to face one at a time.

So I am asking once again, don't even dare to turn my blogs into warzone forums. These are making me sick and mad like hell. And I appreciate your understanding about this.

Class outing.... "Ang Huling El Bimbo" of 3-SVF...

Note: If you are intending to make foolish comments on this blog. Don't even dare to do it.

Today, we had our class outing which was a prize for being one of the Outstanding classes this school year. We were at least between 50 to 75% complete in the outing.
Some of our classmates were out due to sickness, have other things to do, or simply they won't come. I was happy that some never came, but sad for some people (especially those who were struck by sickness) that they never got a chance to spend the outing.

In our outing, we went to St. Agatha Resort in Guiguinto, Bulacan. It was inside a subdivision. When we came there some of us started swimming, but came back after a couple of minutes for a break which was spaghetti and garlic bread with bottomless iced tea. After resting for a while I went to the Wave Pool and took a swim. I survived the first Waves of the Wave Pool.

After taking the swim, I went to lunch, which was Fried Chicken, Pancit Canton, and the Barbeque which tasted good. I rested for a while then I came back to the Wave Pool, but I never lasted. I won't tell why I never lasted at the pool. I took a shower afterwards. And I waited for the others to finish their final swim while texting some people. After their swim, we were about to come back to Claret, but we stopped over Petron in NLEX, we had our merienda at KFC, I had the Snack Box with Pepsi. As the outing ended, we had our last picture

Overall, the outing was good, except the last wave pool. Anyway, this will be the last activity I have with SVF this school year. I had a memorable time. I will cherish this time. I need some rest for awhile.

The Real Reasons Why I didn't come to the Prom last night..

REMINDER: Please read this carefully before you comment.. Thanks!

SVF, Remember when Aric scolded me about the cost of the Prom?!? If you remember, I declined to come to the prom in front of him, and I got scolded a lot. Well this is not the real reason why I didn't come to the biggest day of the year, the Junior's Prom

The real reasons are this, I'm not comfortable to wear formal wear like suits and stuff since I feel bad when I wear them, And also I didn't have enough money "own money" to get to the prom and buy clothing like suits since they are for like what the "AB Market" I'm only in the C Market but close to B "listening to BrewRATS on 99.5 RT". I sure wanted to go, but I don't like to wear formal, I also understand that the prom is a formal affair. Although I missed a lot of things like seeing Arnel Pineda in person, and meeting other people. Still I have no regrets of not coming to the prom.

For the entire batch, I sure think that you had a blast at the prom.

Anyway, I still have to cram since I had a project to finish to pass tomorrow.

SVF, see you at the outing.

NO REGRETS!

Sickness in the class... Why do we get sick? :(

I remember last month, when I suffered "pharyngitis" with 2 other classmates that cost me 2 1/2 days of school and my Perfect Attendance record, and when my head felt hot in one day this month that forced me to go home half-way through the day.

Now, within a span of a month, 5 of our fellow classmates suffered chickenpox, I remembered one who was on his 2nd chickenpox. I pity my 2 classmates who suffered chickenpox this week, they will miss the Prom tomorrow (well I ain't coming), and the Outing on Friday.

It seems like that we got hit by a lot of sickness this quarter, I don't know how we got sick in the first place, but I think is that on some days (I'm not saying everyday), the class is a little bit dirty that would cause sickness.

I sure hope that I won't get sick again next year. I want to finish my 4th Year healthy.

3-SVF.. THANK YOU! :D :) (The kArLc® School Year Ending Blog)

3-SVF

As SY 2008-2009 is coming to an end. I would like to look back at the memories of the section I lived with during my life as a junior, and that is with 3-St. Vincent Ferrer (or SVF for short).

Since Day 1 of the School Year, we have came through a lot of challenges in our lives as classmates that tested our unity and integrity as a section, we also had memorable moments like sweet victories, and defeats which has a lesson for all of us. We had a lot of activities together as a class like the Pilgrimage, Exposure, Interaction, Concert, Choral Elocution, Retreat, Sayawit, and all other things we did as a section that were very memorable for all of us. Although, trouble came through our section this school year, this section remained intact for the entire year and no one was sent out of the school.

I will never forget the assignments especially the never-ending "YELLOW PAD in Filipino", the quizzes especially the quizzes in Math, but every quiz in every subject is important, the exams, the long projects, the stuff we have learned this entire school year that will help us strengthen our thoughts for the future.

Third Year High School is important for all of us as this is the key to college. I will never forget the long nights of studying, being with my classmates everyday of the school week, and having fun with them. Differences within us may set us apart sometimes, but our brotherhood lives on.

So as I bid goodbye to SY 2008-2009, and prepare for SY 2009-2010, which is full of challenges as we tackle our "Senior Year" and prepare for college, I would like to thank my classmates this school year (Jessie, Nur, JL, Agi, Jolly, Benok, Avila, Bana, Quinn, Philip, Dennis, Buena, Francis, Alison, Edison, Centi, Gelo, Aldrin, Mikeszs, Rhett, Jadri, Espi, Patrick, Josh, JD, Junji, Stephen, Ivan, J-Mat, Mikael, Janno, Ichirou, Pala, Puruggs, Brian, Elvin, Mark, Priam, Keith, Jigs, Howie and Tristan) for making this entire school year memorable for me. Although I have not been nice to everyone in the class "I'm really sorry, that it hurts the heart of someone doing sin on other people". This year, we have formed a strong and UNBREAKABLE BOND that will NEVER EVER be BREACHED!

I would also thank the teachers who guided us the entire school year, especially our adviser Mr. Emana for helping us go through the ups and downs the section had faced the school year, and also to all the subject teachers that guided us this school year: Ms. Arboleda, Ms. David, Mr. Sebastian, Ms. De Guzman, Mr. Nicodemus, Mr. Victorino, Mr. Hubalde, Mr. Hermoso, Ms. Genove, and Ms. Azul.

So I end this blog by saying "THANK YOU SVF!" for this school year, Remember that we would still be friends and classmates even after this year has come to an end. Till we meet again.

MUY BIEN, SVF....

I've taken more "SMASHMOUTH" than I can handle at my age..

Over my entire high school life, all that I ever wanted was to settle down, have a little bit of peace, get the right friends, and do schoolwork right. Unfortunately for me I wasn't able to achieve any of these goals.. Why?

The past three years, have been full of bad words like (g***), (p******** mo!),  (s***) and all other bad words that came through my very naked ears. It's like a part of everyday life. The worst part is that I've been through a lot of "smashmouth" wars with my classmates over this stretch in my life. Fighting is really part of everyday life.

I'm very tired to hear words like (g***), (p*** ka), (p******** mo!), etc., I have no choice to stop it invading my mind and self, I'll hear these same words over and over again in school.

I'm also tired of getting into an war of words with my classmates, where a lot of pressure mounts on me that I can't even defend myself, especially in projects, and misunderstandings.

The EXAMS are next week, need to get this right in the final stretch of the school year.
