QUARANTINED....
A(H1N1) has arrived in Claret... Suspended again... :|
THE SWINE FLU INVASION OF CLARET BEGINS!
Starting tomorrow, classes will be suspended in Claret School of Quezon City due to confirmed cases of the Influenza A(H1N1) virus.
Here's what the letter said:
June 23, 2009
Dear Parents,
We had confirmed cases of Influenza A(H1N1) in our school.
We are suspending classes from June 24 to July 3, 2009. We are also cancelling all scheduled activities within the said period.
Classes will resume on July 6, 2009.
Fr. Eduardo C. Apungan, CMF
School Director
High School levels with confirmed cases: 1st Year (Batch L), 3rd Year (Batch J), 4th Year (Batch I)
Right now, I don't like the suspension of classes, since it means that there could be either 8 MORE SATURDAY CLASSES or NO SEMESTRAL BREAK. I don't know how Claret will make up for the classes but, during this period of suspension will study for the UPCAT, and do some projects in school, I can have time to rest from class.
So enjoy the times we don't have classes. It depends on you on how to spend it ;) :D

Classes suspended.. until further notice..
Just as the letter said distributed today after club time.. classes are suspended tomorrow and on Saturday. Here's what the letter said:
June 18, 2009
June 18, 2009
Dear Parents,
Please be informed that we are suspending classes tomorrow, June 19, 2009 and On Saturday June 20, 2009 as a preventive measure to Influenza A (H1N1).
Fr. Eduardo C. Apungan, CMF
School Director
It means that a Saturday class or two will be added in the next few weeks. Which means that there will be 6 or 7 Saturday classes this school year. Usually in times of class suspension, we celebrate a lot of Claretian-style blisfullness. But this ain't a good matter and should be taken very seriously.

Sickness in the class... Why do we get sick? :(
I remember last month, when I suffered "pharyngitis" with 2 other classmates that cost me 2 1/2 days of school and my Perfect Attendance record, and when my head felt hot in one day this month that forced me to go home half-way through the day.
Now, within a span of a month, 5 of our fellow classmates suffered chickenpox, I remembered one who was on his 2nd chickenpox. I pity my 2 classmates who suffered chickenpox this week, they will miss the Prom tomorrow (well I ain't coming), and the Outing on Friday.
It seems like that we got hit by a lot of sickness this quarter, I don't know how we got sick in the first place, but I think is that on some days (I'm not saying everyday), the class is a little bit dirty that would cause sickness.
I sure hope that I won't get sick again next year. I want to finish my 4th Year healthy.

Sickness cost me a lot... BIG TIME!
I'm in a bad mood right now, since my sickness this week had cause me to miss a lot of school work, like missing the Math and Filipino quiz, missing Drafting work, and a lot more of stuff I don't know, but I keep asking so I can get more info about the missed schoolwork... I have a lot of work to do as I will come back to school soon..
Ewan ko na kung ma-rerecover ko yung mga na-miss kong school work... and sana makabalik na ako sa Monday, ayaw ko na mag-miss ng school days ever again... until matapos high school..

SVF hit by PANDEMIC! DANGER! When will this stop?!?
This week alone, the class of SVF has been hit by a massive PANDEMIC! Most of us, including myself has suffered sickness over the week...
It all began on Monday, when Junji got sick and had to be taken back home...
No one expected even myself what will happen next afterwards...
Then on Wednesday, at recess time.. myself, Alison and Mark, suffered sickness and had to be taken back home... It was very painful for me as I was gunning for Perfect Attendance for the 3rd straight year, and I was seeing my fellow classmates, out of energy and in sickness...
On Thursday, this was a sad moment for me, as this is my first absent in my entire High School life.. I didn't went to school since I still had the fever... Then I found out, that at least 10 of us were sick, 3 of us were still absent, 1 had to go back home, then the rest stayed in the clinic but I don't know..
When will this crisis that is crippling our section end?!?
SIGN's of FEVER
