Shaq joins forces with MVP LeBron James as the Cavaliers could have found the missing piece to Cleveland's championship puzzle after their devastating defeat in the Eastern Conference Finals against Orlando.
As for the Orlando Magic, who came off a bitter defeat in the Finals against the Lakers, added a big piece in their quest to come back to the Finals. They acquired Vince Carter from the New Jersey Nets together with Ryan Anderson in exchange for Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee and Tony Battie. Carter will join Dwight Howard & Rashard Lewis as Carter will play in his home state of Florida. The Spurs acquired Richard Jefferson from the Milwaukee Bucks, as the Spurs sent Bruce Bowen, Fabricio Oberto and Kurt Thomas. The Spurs would look for Jefferson to back up their trio of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili.
Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks acquired Jamal Crawford from Golden State for Acie Law and Speedy Claxton. The athletic Crawford will join Joe Johnson and Co. as the Hawks would look to get deeper into the Playoffs next year.
