One week left till the UPCAT.... Being home alone...

Only one week left before 4th year high school students take the once in a lifetime bigtime exam called the UPCAT. With the week left to study, I will review for the entire week so expect me out of the computer many times this week. On the day of the exams, expect heavy traffic along testing venues across the country.

As for today's Refresher Course with Expert Guides, We took test on Science, English and Math that will refresh our minds as exam day closes upon us. After the refresher course, I went home by public transport "commuted my way back home". Right now, I'm the only person in the family still in Manila, since my parents and two little brothers went to Laguna for an event my parents are attending to in Los Banos. I'm not sure when are they going back.

SONA will be on Monday, so there will be no classes. This is and will be the last SONA of President Arroyo. There will be protests across the way during the entire day.

Clark (Mimosa) Experience..

Yesterday, our family together with relatives on my mother's side, went on an overnight R&R trip to Clark in Pampanga. It was my first time inside the former US Air Base, we stayed at the Montevista Resort inside Mimosa, the room (I mean the house) we stayed on was fully-airconditioned. We went swimming and played basketball inside the resort. It also got me a chance to get away from the computer and spend good quality time with family. It was a short R&R, we never got a chance to roam across Clark, but everything that we did during this short time was all worth it.

12.29.08 - Manila Ocean Park, free VANS sneakers, lot of eating...

On this day, the CARANDANG family went on an trip outside home..
-Left home around 9:00 am..
-Picked mom from Makati Medical where our grandmother is being cared..
-Went to Manila Ocean Park..
-Lunch at Pancake House (my food was great) (I bought Starbucks for myself)..
-My mother and 2 brothers went inside the Ocean Park..
-I became part of "Father and Son" bonding.. (we never went inside the park)
-Went to Robinson's Ermita to pick my free VANS sneaker..
-Went to Shangri-La Plaza where my brother picked his VANS sneaker..
-Dinner at Steak Escape Shangri-La Plaza (Sirloin Steak hard to cut)...
-Home at 7:30 pm

OUTING SA BATANGAS

Well, pumunta kami sa Batangas para mag-outing. Sa San Luis kami nag-outing (ayaw ng parents ko sa Anilao dahil nga patay ang reefs doon pangit naman) Sa Ligpo Beach Resort kami nag-outing. (kailangan pa ng boat ride para makapunta doon). Nag-swimming kami, nagkaroon ng bagong kaibigan. Pero walang TV, kulang sa eletric fan, etc., Sa sumunod na araw umalis na kami ng resort. pauwi na, eh di pa tapos ang storyang ito. Pumunta kami ng Tagaytay. Pero noong papunta na kami sa Tagaytay, nasiraan kotse namin, Umabot naman kami, kumain sa Yellow Cab, at bumili ng ube jam. Umuwi na kami pagkatapos ng trip.

SWIMMING IN LIPA CITY! IN THE END WOUNDED ME!

Last Saturday, I went to Lipa City to go swimming because of a family day.

But at 1 pm, I was trying to go to the bathroom, but I slipped on the poolside. Causing me wounds on my sholuder, knee and toes. It bleeded. Luckily, I was able to be treated w/ Betadine and a ointment.

FAMILY DAY, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND ERRANDS!

At the HSG FAMILY DAY, nagkita kami ng mga dalawang dating kaklase! nagusapan at nakijam kami! until umuwi kami sa aming mga tahanan. ako pa nagsundo at naghatid sa isang kasama!

After noon gumawa ako ng COMMUNITY SERVICE, naglinis ako ng aming komunidad! ang saya talaga ng ginawa ko dahil nakatulong ako sa komunidad namin.

Binigyan rin ako ng ERRAND na bumili ng mga gagamitin sa pagluluto sa biyernes! nagastos ko mga isang oras at 30 minuto para bumili at makauwi. FIRST TIME KO MAG COMMUTE NG JEEP!

Tinuloy ko rin ang COMMUNITY SERVICE after ng ERRANDS na ginawa ko hanggang gabi.

Napagod ako pero masaya ako!
