-Went back to Manila at 4:00 pm

12.29.08 - Manila Ocean Park, free VANS sneakers, lot of eating...

On this day, the CARANDANG family went on an trip outside home..
-Left home around 9:00 am..
-Picked mom from Makati Medical where our grandmother is being cared..
-Went to Manila Ocean Park..
-Lunch at Pancake House (my food was great) (I bought Starbucks for myself)..
-My mother and 2 brothers went inside the Ocean Park..
-I became part of "Father and Son" bonding.. (we never went inside the park)
-Went to Robinson's Ermita to pick my free VANS sneaker..
-Went to Shangri-La Plaza where my brother picked his VANS sneaker..
-Dinner at Steak Escape Shangri-La Plaza (Sirloin Steak hard to cut)...
-Home at 7:30 pm

I just got CONFIRMED, and a boring FAMILY DAY for myself...

The day began with the Confirmation where over 100+ students from the 3rd and 4th Year Levels, will recieve the Sacrament of Confirmation. It was great when we got confirmed. I saw Alison Carlos, pretending to be the sponsor of one of our batchmates. After the confirmation we had to leave immideately because an ordination was going to be held afterwards.

We went to Chocolate Kiss in the UP Diliman campus for something to eat afterwards. I love lasagna...

At around 2 pm, I went to the Family Day, where I went to mass, and joined the lantern procession where there were only 7 SVF students including myself. After that I was bored, I had no one to talk to.. and I went around the campus looking for someone to talk to.. I just went home at 9 PM, an hour before the fireworks..

I had no camera to capture the pictures, that's why i'm blogging.

2. Ang mga usapan habang papunta ng Gardenia.
3. Ang bilihan ng tinapay at plant tour sa Gardenia.
4. Ang maraming natulog sa buong Field Trip
5. Si Escusa ng SGA nakasama namin, pat na rin si Ms. De Guzman
6. Ang kainan sa bus at Bluroze
7. Ang dasal sa Our Lady of Mt. Carmel sa Lipa.
8. Ang games sa Bluroze Farm na nahantong sa aking pagsuka. :(
9. Ang P.E.T.I.X pag-uwi at ang 3 hour ride mula Batangas to Claret
10. Merong ding umihi sa bus.
11. Ang nursery rhyme showdown ng SVF.
12. Nakadating ng Claret ng 7:15 at naghintayan

SOPHOMORE'S NIGHT

This is Claret's Sophomore's Night, Last year, I was unable to attend. But this year I was able to attend. There were bands, food, raffle, dance, etc. I had lots of fun especially hanging out with friends and classmates.

I hanged out with JR, Mikey, Ember, Rain, Rogel, and the rest of the STM crew and fellow Batch I mates.

Let's see what the prom has in store next year.

EXPOSURE of II-STM.... (w/ ENGLISH WEEK AWARDING & EARTHQUAKE!)

Well, last Tuesday (Nov. 27) is a day to do something good..

It's our exposure in which we go to a area we don't get to appreciate most of the time....
We went to NIA Road somewhere in Pinyahan QC. But days before this happened, some of us brought food, things that will be given to them. In this exposure, Ms. Prime wanted us to have the exposure in the AVR. But, a decision says that we must go to the area where we are going to held the exposure..

OK...

Before we went to the area. We watched the English Week awarding. Well we won the Choral Elocution in the 1st-2nd Year Division. We fell short over I-BPC in the Debate Finals.. But it still means a blessing that we had a great English Week.

After this we went to the bus that will take us there. 15 minutes later we're in NIA Road. The street to the church was too narrow. We walked for 5 minutes and reached the area...

There we held a lot of activities like games, magic, coloring w/ the kids and a lot more..

After these we had a small tour. I wasn't there with them because I helped cleaning the church..

After the tour we had an evaluation about the exposure, During the evaluation si Ms. Prime may naramdaman, She thought Tristan was pulling her chair but we found out that an earthquake happened around the Metro...

We left the area at 2:00 pm and we arrived at around 2:15-2:20 pm. There were alot of people outside.

CLARET FOUNDATION DAY(OR WEEK) 2007 HIGHLIGHTS.....

Well, immediately pagkatapos ng 2nd Quarter Examination, nagsimula na ang Claret Foundation Day 2007. Ito ay espesyal dahil ito ang ika-40 taon ng Claret School of Quezon City.

Ito ang mga nangyari:

Monday October 22:
Nagbukasan na lahat ng food stands, souvenir shops, exhibits, at ang Claret Box Office. Sa gabi nangyari ang isang Living Rosary at Marian Concert na may fireworks display.

Tuesday October 23:
Sa umaga ginanap ang Street Dance Competition kung saan maglalaban ang mga levels ng high school. Ito ang resulta ng kompetisyon:

1st Place: Batch H (3rd Year) bakit sila first. dapat first kami.
2nd Place: Batch Invictus (2nd Year) sayang... pero ok na din GO BATCH INVICTUS!
3rd Place: Batch J (1st Year)
4th Place: Batch Grandeur (4th Year)

Sa hapon, ang Variety Show na pinamagatan "Claret goes Broadway" ay nagsimula sa araw na ito kung saan ang mga mahal nating mga guro ay nagtanghal. Wohhh tapos si Mr. Cristobal at Ms. David nag-kiss, almost. WEEEEEE..... Pero nagsimula din manghuli ang mga nakasuot ng "ON-DUTY" ID's sa mga estudyante na tambay lang. Kaya medyo nag-ingat ako..

Wednesday October 24:
Dapat nagkaroon ng Field Demo ang mga estudyante ng Grade School. pero ito ay na-postpone dahil sa masamang panahon.

Thursday October 25:
Ang Field Demo na naantala ay tinuloy sa araw na ito dahil gumanda na ang panahon noong araw na iyon.

Friday October 26:
Ginanap ang Pet Show, Car Show at Magic Show, ito rin ang final show ng Variety Show at CBO. At ang pinaka-aabangang event ang CBS Concert na pinamagatang "Load 'Em Up" ay ginanap kung saan nagpakitang gilas ang mga bandang PNE, Chicosci, Mojofly, Rubberpool, Check atbp.

Saturday October 27:
Ginanap ang Musicfest. at ito rin ang huling araw ng Foundation Week 07.

Ito ay isa sa mga matatandaang pangyayari sa kasaysayan ng Claret.

Napagod pa nga ako buong linggo pero makakapahinga na din kasi magsisimula na sem break..

FIELD TRIP. 2-STM, 2-SPA, 2-SMP

Noong Sept. 7, nag-field trip kami around bulacan. eto nangyari:

7:30 am, sumakay na kami ng bus.
8:00 am, umalis na kami ng Claret

(Claret to Marilao via NLE)

9:00 am, nakadating na kami sa aming:

1st destination, Divine Mercy National Shrine sa Marilao. binista namin ang mga attractions ng shrine. ganda nga eh! recommend ko sa inyong lahat pumunta doon.

(Marilao to Calumpit via NLE)

11:00 am, nakadating na kami sa aming:

2nd destination, Liwayway Kawiswis Resort sa Calumpit. doon nag-swimming ako. at nag-relax. Pero may mga nangyari din,

Si Matt nahubadan ng swimming trunks. hehe!
Si Eugene Orodio ng SPA, pinagtripan sa pool ng mga kaklase nya. muntikan na nga ako dahil may pagka parehas kami sa mukha. waaa! close call!
Si Patrick Ebio ng SPA, well, di ko alam masyado pero nadamay si Mr. Gugol at ang 3 cellphone nya.
at may isang taga-SMP, dumugo ilong.

Karamihan sa amin hindi nag-swimming.
May mga laro rin:
Sa tug of war natalo namin ang SPA at SMP
at sa straw building nanalo kami ulit hehehe!

2:30 pm, umalis na kami ng resort.

FAMILY DAY, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND ERRANDS!

At the HSG FAMILY DAY, nagkita kami ng mga dalawang dating kaklase! nagusapan at nakijam kami! until umuwi kami sa aming mga tahanan. ako pa nagsundo at naghatid sa isang kasama!

After noon gumawa ako ng COMMUNITY SERVICE, naglinis ako ng aming komunidad! ang saya talaga ng ginawa ko dahil nakatulong ako sa komunidad namin.

Binigyan rin ako ng ERRAND na bumili ng mga gagamitin sa pagluluto sa biyernes! nagastos ko mga isang oras at 30 minuto para bumili at makauwi. FIRST TIME KO MAG COMMUTE NG JEEP!

Tinuloy ko rin ang COMMUNITY SERVICE after ng ERRANDS na ginawa ko hanggang gabi.

Napagod ako pero masaya ako!
