The LAST Intrams in CLARET : Day 3

On the third day of the 4th Year Intramurals, I started the day practicing my shots, once again, it was an average shooting night.

BAS had only one opponent today, that was SFA
, the match against SAL in football was held today, here is the breakdown:
Basketball: (vs
SFA - L) Record: 3-2
Volleyball: (vs
SFA - W) Record: 5-0
Football:
(vs SFA - ?!? Don't know) (vs SAL - L) Record: 2-1-1 (Win-Draw-Loss)

In the game against SFA, I was heavily defended by Novie Aguilar & Nicco Chia, we did not took the game seriously. Also, our ace guard Rob Mariano twisted his ankle during the game as he landed after a shot. I almost made an "AND 1" shot, and I got my first free throws in that game, but I missed my free throws.

After the game, I took lunch at the Elise Canteen and rested.

Well it was fun when it lasted today, I hope I can make another shot tomorrow.

Five teams down, Two more left, Tomorrow we will face two teams SMA, and STA.

LET'S GO BAS and WIN! YES WE CAN!

The LAST Intrams in CLARET : Day 2

"PATALO" JUST HAPPENED!
Sorry guys!

On the second day of the 4th Year Intramurals, I started the day practicing my shots, it was an average shooting day for me. I made some of my shots, then I miss my shots.

BAS had two opponents today SLE and
SAL, here is the breakdown:
Basketball: (vs
SLE - L) (vs SAL - W) Record: 3-1
Volleyball: (vs
SLE - W) (vs SAL - W) Record: 4-0
Football:
(vs SLE - W) (vs SAL - Not held) Record: 1-1-0 (Win-Draw-Loss)

In the game against
SLE, I had BAD SHOT SELECTION, TURNOVERS, AND POOR DEFENSE!! AYT! fair na yan... and unfortunately we lost the game for our first loss this INTRAMS.

After the games, I went to play with my friends from
BAS, SJG, SLE, SMA, SAL and STA in a series of practice games, It was an average day, and my FEET is aching bigtime!

Well it's back to the drawing board for me.. Hopefully I can bounce back from the poor performance today..
Four teams down, Three more to go, Tomorrow we will face SFA.

LET'S GO BAS and WIN! YES WE CAN!

The LAST Intrams in CLARET : Day 1

The Intrams for the 4th Year level has finally begun today after a long 6 month wait... On it's first day a lot stuff happened.

Before the game, I went to mass hoping that there will be a huge turnout of our batchmates (THANK GOD A LOT OF OUR BATCHMATES TURNED OUT!). We were not allowed to go upstairs. We also had basketball practice before the first game, I was rebounding and shooting a lot during the practice.

On opening day, we had matches against SJG and SDG.
Here are the results on team sports:
Basketball: (vs
SJG - W) (vs SDG - W) Record: 2-0
Volleyball: (vs
SJG - W) (vs SDG - W) Record: 2-0
Football:
(vs SJG - D) (vs SDG - Not held) Record: 0-1-0 (Win-Draw-Loss)

In the basketball came against
SJG, BAS came back from a 18 point deficit to win the game. Then in the game against SDG, I made a three point shot, that cut the lead to 2 points (37-39), and THANK GOD we won the game by 9 points, since during the first time I made a shot at the Intrams last year, we lost that game.

After every game, I went to play with my friends from
BAS, SJG, SLE, SMA, SAL and STA in a series of practice games, I was able to make my shots, dish out assists and get some rebounds. In one practice game, I was unfortunately hit hard by a football kick that went out of the field and into the court we played. The tremendouse force of the football brought me down and hurt, but once again I THANK GOD that I was still able to play and give out 100% of my game. Since we were not allowed to go upstairs into our rooms, we stayed at either the quadrangle, the gym or the canteen. The games ended at around 2:30 pm, and the first day concludes.

Our section is on a good start, hopefully we can carry this until the last day.
Two teams down, Five more to go, expect a tough road ahead.

BAS, can we win TITLES?!?
We'll see about that in the coming days.

LET'S GO BAS and WIN! YES WE CAN!

CLARET DEFENDS QCAA TITLE.... defeats Ateneo 64-55..

CLARET ROOSTERS DEFEND QCAA CHAMPIONSHIP
defeats Ateneo 64-55
Sophomore HACHUELA named FINALS MVP

The Claret Red Roosters became the back-to-back champions in the Men's Basketball Division of the Quezon City Athletic Association (QCAA) after defeating the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eaglets 64-55 at the Dr. Henry Noble Gymnasium inside the campus of Trinity University of Asia in Quezon City.

Sophomore center Alch Hachuela lead the Roosters in scoring as he scored 11 points, 7 of which was part of a 11-0 run to start the 1st Quarter.
The Eaglets quickly bounced back as they went on a 15-3 run of their own, eventually taking a 15-14 lead at the end of the first quarter. The 2nd and 3rd quarters were tight as the Roosters took the first halves of these quarters, while the Eaglets respond in the later halves of these quarters, with Claret eventually taking a 43-41 lead coming into the final quarter. The Red Roosters took the lead for good as Senior forward John Paul Martin scored two early 3's to start the 4th quarter to end with 10 points, while Senior forward Luigi Javier and Junior guard Martan Retuerma scored on drives that broke the Ateneo defense backing up Martin in scoring with Javier scoring 9 points and Retuerma scoring 8.

Hachuela was named the Finals MVP as he led the Roosters in scoring, while Martin was a part of the Mythical 5 of the Men's basketball division.

The Red Roosters were supported by their fellow Claretians who never left the game until the final buzzer sounded. Despite the loud drums the Ateneans used in the game, it was not a factor as the Eaglets settled for 2nd place, while St. Claire finished 3rd, and ICCS finished 4th.

CLARET 64-55 ATENEO
Claret scorers: Hachuela 11; Martin 10; Javier 9; Retuerma 8; Cruz 6; Lalas, Jo. 6; Garcia 5; Alejo 2; Chia 2; De Guzman 2;  Lalas, Ja. 2; Cordova 1; Mangahas 0; Songco 0; Venzon 0

Bouncing back... after an long struggle...

It was a tough stretch of PE sessions for myself, as I was scoreless in each game in September (5 games to be exact.) And the worst part is that we lost each of those games. I had to wait for another week since classes were suspended in Metro Manila due to the aftermath of Typhoon Ondoy.

We came back to the hardcourt on October 5, I was on a mission in those times. I want to end my shooting slump on that day. After I hit my first basket at around 18 feet, I was satisfied already since I ended my slump, I later scored 2 shots from the 3 point line, the game ended in a tie. I had 5 points in that game (we use the 1 and 2 point scoring system. It would be 8 points in an actual game.) Then 2 days later, we played in the wet quadrangle where there was a small drizzle of rain. In that game I scored 1 shot from inside the 3 point line, and 4 shots outside the 3 point line to finish with 9 points. (14 in an actual game). We won that game.

I am happy that I was able to bounce back, I hope it continues until the "Knock-Out" Intrams come.

Hanggang Tuesday na po walang pasok sa Metro Manila at Rizal... maraming make-up na hahabulin

Ipanalangin natin yung mga tinamaan ng sobra ni Bagyong Ondoy...

The suprise OFFENSE of Typhoon Ondoy.... UNIMAGINABLE!!! UNEXPECTED!!

UNIMAGINABLE!! UNEXPECTED!!
TYPHOON ONDOY STRIKES LUZON
HEAVY RAINS CAUSED MASSIVE FLOODING AROUND METRO MANILA.
CLASSES SUSPENDED TOMORROW

Yesterday, Typhoon Ondoy (International name: Ketsana) crossed through Luzon with unexpected results. Most of Metro Manila was engulfed by massive floods as heavy rains crippled the Metro throughout the afternoon and the night

The cities of Marikina, Quezon City, Manila, and Pasig (all in Metro Manila) and the towns of Cainta, San Mateo, Antipolo, and Rodriguez (all in Rizal) were submerged in heavy floods due to massive rainfall that reached 565 mm in 24 hours breaking the old record of 334.5 mm in 24 hours set over 4 decades ago. Areas that have never flooded before like those in Quezon City had s
uffered floods that were 6-12 feet deep. These floods experienced in the past 24 hours were equivalent to a month's worth of rainfall.

Due to the massive flooding, supply of electricity was cut-off in most parts of the Metro to prevent people from getting electrocuted and damage to electrical lines.

Residents in Marikina, Cainta and Antipolo were forced to spend the rainy afternoon and cold night above their roofs as their houses were flooded with waters that reached over two-storied houses. Rescue efforts had an hard time getting to those who need to be rescued since it was late into the night when the weather cooperated and rescue operations began. There were children, old people and even pregnant women that were stuck during the night.

Even famous people were affected by the storm, actress Cristine Reyes was stuck at the roof of her house together with her family in Provident Village, Marikina, which had suffered one the most heaviest floods during the storm's wrath yesterday.

Motorists were stuck and stranded across major roads and streets inside and outside of Metro Manila, even in the expressways like the NLEX and SLEX, people were stuck into their cars for long durations.

As of the time I write this blog, the death toll from the storm is at 52 (most died from drowning). Unfortunately, the death toll is expected to rise. Over 300,000 people were displaced and evacuated from their homes due to flooding and landslides.

The National Disaster Coordinating Council also announced that classes in all levels in Metro Manila and some parts of Rizal which includes Cainta, San Mateo, Rodriguez (Montalban), and Antipolo are suspended tomorrow. The Commission on Higher Education also added that classes in colleges in Region 4-A which includes Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and Quezon are also suspended tomorrow.

In my sight about the typhoon, THANK GOD we never suffered from the flooding that was along our area since our subdivision is in a high place, but we had no electricity from 1:30 pm yesterday until 12:15 pm today. But I was very worried to my classmates especially those living in Marikina, Cainta and Antipolo, and some parts of Quezon City especially below our subdivision in Northview 2 and Serra Monte Villas. As I write this blog,
I see a lot of helicopters coming into the general direction of Cainta and Marikina trying to help the people in those areas.

Let's pray for the people who are currently in this time of peril, let's hope that they may be reached by the men and women who had sacrificed their time and lives to help the people who are in need. Guide us in our time of need.

A week after the ACET.... some happenings in Claret.

It has been a week since the Ateneo College Entrance Test, I saw the ACET as something as an huge English Proficiency Test as most of the test had English, there were also a lot of Math questions, the essay, and it's really a time-pressured test. Where in one sub-test, you have to answer 25 questions for only 5 minutes.

Back in Claret, I joined some school organizations, like the school paper Tanglaw, and to provide matter for the Claret Debate Society. I joined them to do more in school before we graduate in March 2010. I want to leave Claret with a good mark.

We had our last exposure in Kalayaan Avenue, where we spent time in an depressed area of the city. We also planned the community project for the area, which will be implemented in January 2010

The USTET will be on October 25 in Espana, not like the previous 2 years, where Claretians took the test in Claret. Good luck to those who will take the DLSU-CET on October 11 (I'm not intending to go to DLSU)

3 Days of Activities...

To start the month of September, 4-BAS embarked on 3 days of activities where they would experience these activities for the last time in claret.

September 1 & 2: THE LAST RETREAT

In the first 2 days of September, we went to our last class retreat in Claret, as for 2 days inside the Claret Retreat House we were cut-off from the outside world. During the retreat bonds were formed to an divided group of men. Some time to relax from the stress of school. The food there was very good. In those 2 days, I was enlightened to enjoy the best in life. Hopefully this isn't the last retreat we would experience, let's hope that the planned batch retreat to Calaruega will go.

September 3: THE LAST FIELD TRIP as CLARETIANS

4-BAS fresh from the retreat, together with 4-SMA went to St. Agatha's Resort in Guiguinto, Bulacan for the last Field Trip as Claretians. Unfortunately for me, I had sore throat and clogged nose so I was unable to swim, but I brought my camera and took shots during the day in HIGH DEFINITION (HD). We came to the resort at 8:00 am from Claret. There were the Aqua Sports, swimming at wave pool, a film viewing, and great snacks and lunch. Afterwards, there was no stopover and we went back to Claret at 4:00 pm.

This may be the last time we would ever experience these kind of activities, we will leave Claret with some smiles.

The little PRINCE.... done at home...

August 21 was an holiday commemorating the death of Ninoy Aquino, despite the holiday, our project in English which was the trailer for the Little Prince.

At the beginning of the day, I went to Claret to see JL, Baña, Centi, Francis and Albert for we were going to commute back to my house. Two of our groupmates Espi and Airam went directly to my house. When we got there we had our lunch which was porkchop and soup. Afterwards, we started taping our project. For the next 2 hours, the only thing we did was tape the project, we even made a blooper out of many takes. After taping, we had merienda where we had spaghetti and softdrinks. After merienda, I joined them in leaving where before they went back to their homes, we went to Jadri's house to see him and tape one scene... Afterwards, we went seperate ways.

We'll see the outcome soon..

Had a great time in doing the project at my house with classmates :))) Thanks guys! will blog tomorrow

The "LAST" Opening of Intrams in Claret.... BAS: the boys in RED! is it a good match?!?

It was on August 20, 2009. During the time where we get to experience a once in a year event for the last time, that was the last Opening of Intrams for Batch I. The day began on an parade traversing UP Village and Teacher's Village. The route was longer than in previous years. After the parade, there was a program with former UST volleyball player Denise Tan as guest speaker together with performances from the MMDA and Quezon City bands, and our very own HATAW. After the program, my classmates and batchmates played basketball for the entire late morning. I got to admit, I was way too ice cold in shooting, and I'm not in peak condition. After a long strenous play of basketball. It was "PETIX" mode until the end of the day.

It was a tiring and strenous opening of Intrams.

The design of the Intrams shirt for this year was the worst in the four years I've been in this institution, with no offense to the designer.

A Nation mourns....

The Philippines' democracy icon, an advocate of peace, a simple housewife, the late President Corazon Aquino, will always be in the minds of the Filipino nation. As the country mourns her passing. History will be made, as thousands of people will pay their last respect to the former president who gave freedom and liberty from the dictatorship of the past without a spill of blood. Her funeral is today and it is an holiday for the people to witness history in the making/

WE at the kArLc NATION mourn her passing.

THANK YOU! PRESIDENT CORY!
FOR THE FREEDOM WE HAVE TODAY!

Before the UPCAT....

Starting tomorrow, dreams will be on the line as the UPCAT, one of the biggest university entrance tests rolls through the weekend.

I'll take the test on Sunday and I would be one of the last students to take it as I would be in the PM session. I won't be at the computer over the weekend, to get focused on what will lie ahead. I'll be reading the comments posted here as soon as I finish the UPCAT on Sunday night.

I'd say GOOD LUCK to myself, and to all to those who will take the UPCAT tomorrow and on Sunday
(^_^). For those who are in the same time and building as me (SCHOOL of ECONOMICS), see you on Sunday!

One week left till the UPCAT.... Being home alone...

Only one week left before 4th year high school students take the once in a lifetime bigtime exam called the UPCAT. With the week left to study, I will review for the entire week so expect me out of the computer many times this week. On the day of the exams, expect heavy traffic along testing venues across the country.

As for today's Refresher Course with Expert Guides, We took test on Science, English and Math that will refresh our minds as exam day closes upon us. After the refresher course, I went home by public transport "commuted my way back home". Right now, I'm the only person in the family still in Manila, since my parents and two little brothers went to Laguna for an event my parents are attending to in Los Banos. I'm not sure when are they going back.

SONA will be on Monday, so there will be no classes. This is and will be the last SONA of President Arroyo. There will be protests across the way during the entire day.

The "Boom Boom Pow" and kArLc

"Gotta get that, Gotta get that, Gotta get that, Gotta get that that that that that...."
"Boom Boom Boom..."
-Parts of "Boom Boom Pow" by Black Eyed Peas.

It has been a "Boom Boom Pow" experience so far for me in 4-BAS. It's like a Techno-R&B experience combined. Because of "Boom Boom Pow", it turned my life 180 degrees for the better. I'm not sure if they are praising me, or having fun with me. I don't know if I'll keep it a class secret or not.

Hey it's still a long way to go, better not waste the moments.

SHEED JOINS THE CELTICS
MARION SIGNS WITH THE MAVERICKS

The 14-year veteran Wallace signed a 5-year contract with the 2008 Champions, as his hunger for a 2nd NBA Championship grows.

The man with a special unorthodox shot, Shawn Marion has signed up with the Dallas Mavericks after he spent the past 1 1/2 seasons with the Heat and Raptors. Marion who in his career with the Phoenix Suns had fought a lot of battles with the Mavericks will now join sides with the Mavs and 2007 MVP Dirk Nowitzki.

BIG Free Agent signings and retentions.. and a Yao injury update...

TREVOR ARIZA SIGNS WITH THE ROCKETS
YAO WAITING FOR HOPE FROM INJURY
BUT ARTEST JOINS WORLD CHAMP LAKERS
TURKOGLU HEADING TO TORONTO
GORDON AND VILLANUEVA JOIN THE PISTONS CAUSE

OKUR AND BOOZER STAY WITH THE JAZZ

This has turned out to be a wild free agency season in the NBA. As Trevor Ariza who played a huge role during the Lakers championship run will join the Houston Rockets this year. Ariza would get $32 million, over the next five years with the Rockets.

Meanwhile, Yao Ming is waiting for hope after the Rockets announced he is out indefinitely and possibly the whole of next season, as team doctors found something worse on Yao's left foot that could threaten his basketball career. Yao has missed a lot of games  due to injuries since the 2004-05 season.

The Rockets signed Ariza fromt the Lakers after Ron Artest signed with the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers for the next 5 years. The 29-year old Artest will join forces with Finals MVP Kobe Bryant and guys like Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, etc.

Hedo Turkoglu, fresh from his NBA Finals stint with the Orlando Magic will now head to Canada with the Toronto Raptors in a 5 year $60 million deal with the Raptors. Turkoglu declined a earlier offer with the Portland Trail Blazers after the Trail Blazers gave their best efforts to get Turkoglu to Portland.

The Pistons got a boost in their lineup, as Ben Gordon from the Bulls, and Charlie Villanueva from the Bucks will join the Pistons. Gordon and Villanueva signed 5-year deals with the Pistons.

The Utah Jazz can now breathe well as star forwards Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur will stay another year with the Jazz.

They acquired Vince Carter from the New Jersey Nets together with Ryan Anderson in exchange for Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee and Tony Battie. Carter will join Dwight Howard & Rashard Lewis as Carter will play in his home state of Florida. He also gives more reason for Hedo Turkoglu to stay in Orlando as he has a player option wheter to opt out or stay next season.

The San Antonio Spurs, who are looking to get younger has added a young star. The Spurs acquired Richard Jefferson from the Milwaukee Bucks, as the Spurs sent Bruce Bowen, Fabricio Oberto and Kurt Thomas. The Spurs would look for Jefferson to back up their trio of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks acquired Jamal Crawford from Golden State for Acie Law and Speedy Claxton. The athletic Crawford will join Joe Johnson and Co. as the Hawks would look to get deeper into the Playoffs next year.

QUARANTINED....

Start:     Jun 24, '09
End:     Jul 5, '09
Due to A(H1N1).. Claretians are "QUARANTINED"

A(H1N1) has arrived in Claret... Suspended again... :|

THE SWINE FLU INVASION OF CLARET BEGINS!

Starting tomorrow, classes will be suspended in Claret School of Quezon City due to confirmed cases of the Influenza A(H1N1) virus.

Here's what the letter said:

June 23, 2009

Dear Parents,

We had confirmed cases of Influenza A(H1N1) in our school.

We are suspending classes from June 24 to July 3, 2009. We are also cancelling all scheduled activities within the said period.

Classes will resume on July 6, 2009.

Fr. Eduardo C. Apungan, CMF
School Director

High School levels with confirmed cases: 1st Year (Batch L), 3rd Year (Batch J), 4th Year (Batch I)

Right now, I don't like the suspension of classes, since it means that there could be either 8 MORE SATURDAY CLASSES or NO SEMESTRAL BREAK. I don't know how Claret will make up for the classes but, during this period of suspension
will study for the UPCAT, and do some projects in school, I can have time to rest from class.

So enjoy the times we don't have classes. It depends on you on how to spend it ;) :D

Confirmed ba o suspected na may A(H1N1) ang Claret?

Classes suspended.. until further notice..

Just as the letter said distributed today after club time.. classes are suspended tomorrow and on Saturday. Here's what the letter said:

June 18, 2009

Dear Parents,

Please be informed that we are suspending classes tomorrow, June 19, 2009 and On Saturday June 20, 2009 as a preventive measure to Influenza A (H1N1).

Fr. Eduardo C. Apungan, CMF

School Director

It means that a Saturday class or two will be added in the next few weeks. Which means that there will be 6 or 7 Saturday classes this school year. Usually in times of class suspension, we celebrate a lot of Claretian-style blisfullness. But this ain't a good matter and should be taken very seriously.

ANG LATE KONG MATULOG.... mag 1am na... haha..

If you hate the new stuff.. then get used to it...

Random thoughts on Independence Day...

Today is the 111st Independence Day in the Philippines, There was no classes today since it is a holiday announced way back in December 2008. I just had a lot of random thoughts like the following:

Week 1 in 4-BAS

The first week in Claret lasted for four days. We met our other subject teachers besides our adviser. Here are some of our subject teachers besides Mr. Mendoza:
Mr. Garcia - Math
Mr. Tubelleza - Science
Mrs. Cruz - Filipino
Ms. Suplito - Social Studies
Mr. Lugo - CLE
Mr. Malbas - Electronics
Mr. Hermoso - Music
Mr. Garcia - PE

The school announced there will be a Saturday Class next week (Claret scheduled 5 Saturday Classes.), There was also the Independence Day Celebration yesterday. Our adviser was sick the past 2 days. Some Claretians who went abroad 2 weeks prior to June 8 were sent home. And I had to find a new club since my club last year was disbanded. It's still a long way to go, and the year has just begun.

Magic fall to 1-3 hole vs. Lakers

The Orlando Magic's chances of winning the NBA Championship are now diminishing as they suffered a 99-91 overtime loss against the LA Lakers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Derek Fisher sank a game tying three in the fourth quarter after Dwight Howard missed 2 free throws which sent the game into OT, Fisher also sank another clutch three that gave the Lakers a 94-91 lead, the Magic suffered turnovers and easy Laker points in overtime.

I could see my pick in the NBA Finals lose again. If the Lakers were to win the title, this would be the 4th straight year my pick lost in the Finals. But I still never lose hope for the Magic, they could bounce back for sure.

A(H1N1) is now a pandemic
The WHO announced that the Influenza A(H1N1) virus or commonly known as Swine Flu has now been known as a pandemic as they raised the Alert Level for the virus to Level 6 which ment it has reached every continent the WHO administers. The Philippines is still leading in confirmed cases of A(H1N1) in Southeast Asia with 92 cases, Thailand is in 2nd with 46 cases.

A lot of random thoughts on the day of our Independence. I feel good when I let these thoughts out of my head and into my blogs.

Feeling a lot of random thoughts.

First Day with 4-BAS....

During the first day of the School Year 2009-2010... A lot has changed in Claret, we have a new School Director, Mrs. Ramos is Assistant Principal for Student Affairs, Mr. Nicodemus is Student Moderator for 1st and 2nd Year (Please pray for him as he recovers from a major operation last week), we have 14 new teachers (tomorrow we'll meet them all), and we begin our final year in Claret and the year we would be called "Big Brother's or Kuya ng Claret" as we are in our senior year.

This year I am a part of 4-Blessed Andres Sola (4-BAS for short). At the start of the day, I talked with my classmates from 3-SVF and 2-STM. After the Morning Rituals, we met our adviser Mr. Johnlord Mendoza, he went through the rules, especially his famous rule of no sharing of school materials which start tomorrow, being prepared during his subject, and the "RULE of 3".

After recess, we filled out a information sheet for Mr. Mendoza's reference and answered some questions that can be related to a psychological test. Afterwards, he allowed us to watch Game 2 of the NBA Finals which the Lakers won 101-96 to take a 2-0 lead in the Finals. It was all jokes after the game until lunch time, Lunchtime was like a mini-barangay as a lot of people are inside.

After lunch, we met 3 of our subject teachers, Mrs. Cruz (Filipino), Mr. Malbas (TLE"Electronics"), and Mr. Hermoso (Music). We had yet to meet our other teachers, we will find out within the week.

IT WAS A GOOD FIRST DAY, I HOPE IT WILL LAST FOR THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR.

DAY 1 is OVER, BUT IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING!
"WELCOME TO HELL!"

Well, I love the fact that our teacher is Mr. Mendoza since he is a good and strict English teacher. 17 of the 40 classmates in BAS had been my classmates before and the rest are new classmates to me. Some of these new classmates I had already met this past summer during the review. I think this will be a great lineup to end my high school life in Claret. On the downside, some of my classmates who I hope they would be my classmates are in other sections. I don't know what's in store this school year, but all I can say is that it will be a productive school year not only for Batch I(soon to be named), but for the entire school.

There's still one question in my head:
TALAGA NA BANG JUNE 8 PASUKAN?!?

One thing I can say for this question is:

WE'LL SEE!

BAS, see yah soon!

The new Multiply 4.0

MULTIPLY 4.0

Today, the new Multiply 4.0 has arrived on my account. After I waited at least 3-5 days for the upgrade to arrive. It's has a lot of new features like the redesigned Inbox made simple where in one new feature, you can pick your friends that you can track with the new "Favorite" feature. The Media Locker has been improved in the new Multiply 4.0, there are a lot of new features Multiply 4.0 has to offer, I can't tell everything new.

For some users who have not been upgraded to 4.0, don't worry. Since Multiply will make the 4.0 available for all users (they will roll them out in batches). Some users will recieve the upgrade earlier than others.

I'm just enjoying the new Multiply 4.0, I've been on Multiply for 3 and 1/4 years and I enjoy every single minute I spend on Multiply.

Wala

Rating:★★★★★
Category:Music
Genre: Other
Artist:Kamikazee
The hit new song by Kamikazee.. "Wala" is a song of hate against the current and soon to be former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. The song is like a riot waiting to happen, but I love Kamikazee and their style of music.

2009 NBA Finals Preview

When the season began in October, there were 30 teams with different stories and the same goal of bringing a championship to their respective franchises. After six months of battles during the regular season, only 16 teams remain to compete in the First Round of the 2009 NBA Playoffs. But in the Second Round, only 8 teams remain. Then in the Conference Finals, 4 teams were still alive. And after all was over, there were two teams. One representing the West, the other representing the East.

And it all goes down to one final showdown..

2009 NBA FINALS
In this year's NBA Finals, the Western Conference Champion Los Angeles Lakers will face off against the Eastern Conference Champions Orlando Magic, in this best-of-7 series. For more about this matchup, here's the:

TALE OF THE TAPE

SEASON SERIES:
1st Game: LAL 103-106 ORL
2nd Game: ORL 109-103 LAL
ORL wins series 2-0

This is going to be a good NBA Finals between the Lakers who are looking for redemption after last year's defeat in the NBA Finals against the Celtics, and the Magic who are back in the NBA Finals for the first time since 1995 and are looking to bring Orlando it's first NBA Championship in their return in the NBA Finals.

As for my pick, I want the Magic to win in this Finals, because the Lakers already had 14 championships in the rafters, the Magic have yet to enjoy the moments of being NBA Champions. The Lakers are a good team especially a guy named Kobe Bryant who has 3 championship in his name (with Shaq), but I'm going for the "underdog" in this series.

Once again, the big question is:
WHERE WILL AMAZING HAPPEN THIS YEAR?
WHO WILL BE CROWNED THE 2009 NBA CHAMPION?

Once again, I disabled replies on this blog. Haha.. so out of blog comments will never be heard..

THEREwillBEaNEWchampionFORsure.

Lebron "King" James buzzer beater vs Orlando Magic

WWE is moving to LA (from Denver), just because the Nuggets are still in the Playoffs

VS

WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT
vs
DENVER NUGGETS

What is the WWE thinking right now?? WWE was supposed to have Monday Night Raw in the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. But since the Denver Nuggets host Game 4 vs the Los Angeles Lakers on the same day and time as the WWE Raw event in Denver. The WWE announced they would move their programming for the week (Raw, SmackDown!, and ECW) to the Staples Center in Los Angeles (Home of the Lakers). As the WWE were literally "booted out" of Pepsi Center by the orders of Denver Nuggets' owner Mr. Kronke. For the Nuggets, they won Game 4 vs the Lakers 120-101 as J.R. Smith and Chauncey Billups scored 24 points each, as the Western Conference Finals is tied at 2-2. For the WWE, they moved RAW to L.A., and in one TV skit, they did a spoof of David Stern, Jerry Buss (Lakers owner), and Mr. Kronke (Nuggets owner) literally showing support for the Lakers.

"Note: If the Rockets faced the Nuggets, the Raw event would not disrupt the Western Conference Finals since Game 4 would be in Houston."

MOST OF THIS BLOG IS SCRIPTED. DON'T TAKE IT TOO SERIOUSLY LOL!
